MoviePass is the nation's leading theatrical subscription service. What does that mean? It means that, for one flat monthly fee, our members are able to see an unlimited number of movies in theaters each month. Our service is available in 95% of theater nationwide.

We are a business of movie lovers and, as such, our mission is two-fold. We want to make it easier for people to see the movies they want in theaters and we want to enhance the overall experience of being a movie-lover.

Description:

·      Set-up, QA, and run A/B test across all the company’s marketing activities

·      Ability to work across different marketing channels (blog, social media, press, etc.), from online to in-person, from traditional to creative and unconventional

·      Manage and optimize new acquisition channels (search, social, display, mobile, offline)

·      Create new programs, techniques, approaches to drive leads and growth

·      Recommend features & strategies that increase user referral rates

·      Develop and implement a content marketing and SEO strategies

·      Conduct market research, such as customer questionnaires and focus groups

·      Reach out to and build relationships with influencers, organize guest blog posts and features in other specialist publications

·      Create, implement, and manage multiple user acquisition experiments

·      Optimize targeting, creatives, marketing messages and spend

·      Manage and expand affiliate program

·      Identify and target community partnerships

·      Do whatever it takes to get the job done

 

About You:

·      3+ years of professional growth or marketing experience

·      Loves movies

·      Passionate about growth & have a track record of hitting aggressive targets

·      Proven track record of increasing user acquisition, engagement, and retention

·      Very analytical, feel very comfortable with Excel

·      Detail and quality-oriented, incredible organizational skills

·      Demonstrable experience in implementing data-led marketing strategies & using web analytics tools

·      Impeccable communication and interpersonal skills

·      Strong entrepreneurial drive and motivated by results, all-around self-driven hustler, able to thrive in a small, fast-moving team

·    Out of the box and creative thinker

·    Comfortable with ambiguity, shifting priorities and general growth pains of an early-stage technology company

 

Nice to Haves:

·      SQL

·      Experience working in film industry

·      Previous early-stage tech startup experience
